Enjoy Grass While Buried Under Snow

As the first really good snowfall of the winter continues to pile snow onto the streets, sidewalks, and grass we once again yearn for Spring. The 50 degree Chicago December and January days, further proving the presence of climate change, feel like a distant memory.

Now while we love living in a place that has four distinct seasons, the cold, dark, and dreary colors of a Chicago winter can bring out a lust for green.

So what do you do to add some color to the winter's greys and whites?

Here are three ways to enjoy grass year around in the comfort of your home:

1) grassland Shade L

These lampshades by Cologne Germany Based designer grassland (aka Bernd Oette) are made of real dried grass on a fabric lamp shade. The grass is painted green for a lush grass experience year round. The blades of real grass give off a wonderful aromatic scent year after year. Check out other grass design objects by grassland from wall coverings to sculptural and decorative objects.

2) Eric Bessel grass/hair series

You know that winter is getting the better of you when even discolored grass is a welcome escape from the snow on the ground.

all the exciting developments at 360SEE.

Over the past six months we have been busy working on a number of corporate fine art consulting projects,

in addition to continuing to work with our loyal collector clients.

Last week we quietly launched the long awaited, new, 360SEE gallery website. The new and improved

360SEEgallery.com was designed with you -- our clients in mind -- offering expanded coverage of exhibited

works,represented artists, and exhibitions. We have added additional images for each piece, with detail

images of two-dimensional pieces and multi-perspective views of sculpture, furniture, and design objects.

As you browse the site you will notice that prices are now listed for most pieces. One of the biggest

changes that we have implemented is the ability to purchase works directly from 360SEE online.

If a price is listed “available for purchase by inquiry only” or if you prefer to discuss any piece with us, we

are still always available by email, phone, or by appointment.

We recogninze the frustration of unknown shipping costs when purchasing fine art and furniture online.

With the 360SEE online gallery, all pieces available for purchase online include FREE domestic

shipping.
